Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we are producing facemasks. These are being donated to medical workers around the country where the need comes up. They are also available for purchase to anyone who needs one. The $20 price includes the cost to donate one mask to a medical worker. Get a mask, give a mask.
They are one size fits all for adults. I can also make a smaller mask for children upon request.
Please not these masks are NOT n95 respirators and are not certified in any manner. They are made from 100% cotton, washable and reusable.

Q: What is an N95 mask and why are these not N95?
A: N95 respirators have special filters to filter out 95% of particulates including bacteria and viruses. They have limited use, must be properly fit to your face and the filters typically last only 8 hours, which is why hospitals go through so many of them. They also change between patients which means even more masks.
Q: Are surgical masks n95?
A: No they are not.
Q: Why do medical professionals want cotton masks if they don't filter like an N95?
A: There is such a shortage right now of N95 masks that even in hospitals, using something is better than nothing at all. They are also utilizing surgical masks and cotton masks for parts of the hospital like Oncology that don't deal with Covid-19 to conserve precious n95 resources for doctors and nurses with Covid-19 Patients. They also sometimes use them to protect the N95 mask underneath to increase its life.
Q: Why would I want to wear a cotton mask if it doesn't filter out viruses?
A: According to doctors giving updates on the pandemic, the benefit of wearing a mask is not only filtration. It is a constant reminder not to touch your face! Touching your face is a major factor in transimitting diseases of any kind.
Q: How often should I wash the mask?
A: Before wearing it, and every time after you come inside after using it.
